CPT-IK and Shar Press present, “A Bombardment Between Two Rivers”
On August 7th, CPT-IK and Shar Press presented a documentary called, “A Bombardment Between Two Rivers” about an Iranian shelling that massacred 21 people, including children and a pregnant woman, on August 6th, 1994 in Qaladze.
CPT commends the staff of Shar Press for their hard work on filming and editing the documentary. Additionally, CPT commends the impacted families for still resisting and having the courage to share their stories. Kak Hasan and Hussein, members of impacted families, documented and preserved the footage and records that facilitated the documentary.
Since 2015, at least 140 civilians have been killed and over 215 civilians have been injured in Iraqi Kurdistan. Since the 1990s the number of civilians killed and injured by Turkish and Iranian military operations in Iraqi Kurdistan numbers in the thousands.
The documentary will be published at a later date in the near future .

سی پی تی ئەو زە‌حمەتەی کە ستافی شار پرێس لە کاریاندا لە دروستکردنی فیلمە بەڵگەنامەییەکەدا کێشاویانە بەرز دەنرخێنێت. هەروەها سوپاسی خێزانی شەهیدەکان دەکات بۆ کۆڵنەدان لە خەباتیان و بۆ ئەو ئازایەتیەی کە لە هاوبەشکردنی بەسەرهاتەکانیاندا نواندیان. فیلمە بەڵگەنامەییەکە لە سەر بنەمای ئەو وێنە و بەڵگانە بنیادنراوە کە لەلایەن کاک حەسەن و کاک حوسەینی ئەندامی بنەماڵەی شەهیدەکانەوە هاتوونەتە تۆمارکردن و پاراستن.
لە ساڵی ٢٠١٥ەوە بە هۆی بۆردومانەکانەوە لە کوردستانی عێراقدا١٤٠ هاوڵاتی شەهید کراون و ٢١٥ هاوڵاتیش بریندارکراون. لە ساڵانی نەوەدەوە هەزاران هاوڵاتی لە ئەنجامی ئۆپەراسیۆنەکانی تورکیا و ئێرانەوە لە هاتوونەتە شەهید و بریندارن کردن.
